Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair

Babies grow so fast. So when considering you’re next purchase it’s important to think about how long is this product really going to last us. This is what’s so awesome about the Tripp Trapp! The Tripp Trapp can take you from 6 months (newborn with the purchase of the additional newborn set) all the way through to adulthood.

Quality family time is often spent around the dinner table. So it’s important for the newest member of the family to have their special place at the table. The Tripp Trapp is pushed right up to the table (that’s why it doesn’t come with the tray, but for those who can’t live without it, the tray is available as an accessory). It’s fully adjustable ensuring your child is always at the perfect height to eat, play and interact. Designed in 1972, the focus was to have your feet on the floor, as having your feet on the floor is key to being able to sit comfortably.

Also worth mentioning is how easy it is to clean. Just a wipe down and you’re done. There’s no large padded fabric seat, like a traditional high chair, where all the crumbs always managed to get stuck.

And the sore point. The price. At $329 it’s at the pointy end for the price of a high chair. But you’ll be using this chair for more than 10 years, so at just over $30 per year, it’s actually pretty good value for money. Once finished using it in the kitchen move it to the children’s room and they’ll have a desk chair. The ergonomic design means they’re supported in the best possible way.
